WHAT DOES KAYAKING HAVE TO OFFER?
Kayaking around the coast of Anglesey has to be one of those activities that ticks everyone’s to do list. Apart from the exercise, sense of achievement and adventure, you get to paddle around some of the most stunning and sometimes inaccessible parts of the Islands coastline here in North Wales.
Whether you want to go all out and paddle “The Stacks”, or spend the day paddling around Rhoscolyn looking at seals, our instructors will ensure you have the best experience possible with Anglesey Pursuits.
Here at Anglesey Pursuits, we have a range of sit in and sit on top kayaks. We cater for the complete newbie, to the more experienced paddler. We will also supply you with all the technical kit and equipment.
WHAT DOES KAYAKING WITH ANGLESEY PURSUITS ENTAIL?
Half Day Morning’s Activity
09.00am - Meet at designated location and kit issue.
09.05am - Safety checks and briefing on procedures, the morning’s activity and any questions answered.
12.00pm - Finish activity, debrief and feedback.
12.15pm - Return kit and depart.
Half Day Afternoon’s Activity
13.00pm - Meet at designated location and kit issue.
13:05pm - Safety checks and briefing on procedures, the afternoon’s activity and any questions answered.
16.00pm - Finish activity, debrief and feedback.
16.15pm - Return kit and depart.
Full Day’s Activity
09.00am - Meet at designated location and kit issue.
09.05am - Safety checks and briefing on procedures, the day’s activity and any questions answered.
12.15pm - Lunch.
13.00pm - Ready to go again.
16.00pm - Finish activity, debrief and feedback.
16.15pm - Return kit and depart.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Personal kit required by you for kayaking:
- An old pair of trainers and spare socks.
- Rash vest or t-shirt (not cotton) to wear under a wetsuit.
- Swimsuit to wear under your wetsuit.
- Towel, sun cream and any personal medication.
- Lunch and plenty of water if on a full day’s activity.
Anglesey Pursuits has a well equipped, purposely renovated trailer for you to be able to get changed in privacy. Your belongings can be stored in the trailer whilst you are out and about on your adventures (at the participant’s risk) – the trailer will be locked and secured.
